Make it Monday: Halloween Treats!
Hello friends and hello November!! As it was Halloween on Saturday, and we have lots of children in our street, I made these:
They were very quick to put together (which was just as well as I had very little time!): a few lollies, a Halloween balloon, a silver cobweb and a cute owl in the background courtesy of the Have a Hoot bundle:
I stamped the owl and the word ‘Boo’ onto white cardstock and being able to use a stamp positioning tool saved me time and means they all looked the same (helpful for those of us with perfectionist tendencies!):
These stamped pieces were to add to the clear envelopes to give them some rigidity:
I used the spider web die to cut these cute webs from silver cardstock:
It took me ages to poke out all the little pieces so I’m glad I decided on 24 rather than 50 (which is what I normally do):
After all that, it was so wet in the afternoon/evening that absolutely no-one was out trick or treating, and I don’t think even the cellophane packaging would have saved these from getting very wet!!
Our letterbox balloon was also not needed!
MEANWHILE … I’ve been enjoying making other cards during October as it gives me a nice break from Christmas cards!
Thanks so much for visiting me today! As sometimes happens I’m a little late but it’s still Monday in Paris where my sister lives!! I really appreciate you spending time here 🙂 If you have any questions please ask and I hope this has given you a little inspiration for next year! Megan xo
