Global Design Project #GDP094

A great inspirational SKETCH by Marieke Bart (see below)  for the Global Design Project #GDP094 , but I couldn’t make up my mind what I wanted to do!! (I’ll share a different attempt below). In the end I decided to keep it simple. 

And here’s Marieke’s sketch:

I used the Wood Words Bundle and did tone-on-tone (same colour) stamping with the floral stamp onto Cherry Cobbler cardstock; it’s a bit hard to see in the photo, but the Hardwood background stamp looks great in Crumb Cake ink: 

And here’s one of the cards I decided not to go with. I just couldn’t make up my mind – perfectionist tendencies anyone?!!
