Countdown to Christmas 2019: 14 weeks!
Hello friends! This week it’s all about a quick to make but useful Christmas gift/stocking filler using Post It Notes (PINs!)
I can package 3 x of these PINs (that measure 3″ x 3″) from just one A4 sheet of Whisper White cardstock and 1 x 6″x 6″ piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP). The PINs are adhered to the middle section of the cardstock with double sided tape:
The white cardstock cover for the PINs measures 8″ x 3-1/2″, scored at 2″, 2-3/8″, 5-1/2″ and 5-7/8″.
Just choose which way you want the pattern on the DSP to run then cut the DSP by following these measurements:
And this is how I position the DSP before adhering it down with double sided tape:
To close them I found these velcro fasteners on Amazon – love them!!
They work really well and are easy to open and close; I like that it’s a thin design and one of the pieces is clear:
For once I used Stampin’ Up products that are currently available for purchase!!
A close up:
I couldn’t help myself though; I also made one using the retired star punch and Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set! 😉
These medium clear envelopes (50 for just $10.50!) make perfect packaging; you could also add some ribbon or twine and a tag:
I really like how these turned out and am keen to make some more:
Thanks so much for taking the time to visit today! If you have any questions please ask and I hope this has given you a little inspiration ? Megan xo
The perfect little Christmas gift! Really suits all those lists that we write around Christmas time! 🙂
Yes! And they’re really quick and economical to make 🙂
