AUGUST #RAK BLOG HOP

Welcome to the Random Act of Kindness (RAK) Blog Hop for August! You’re visiting Megan Cooper in Sydney, Australia, and I’m showcasing the cards I’ve given and received as part of the Random Act of Kindness Group on Facebook.

Each month, we select a few people from the Group to send a RAK card to so we can make their day extra special. Why? Just because! Please feel free to join the Group if you’d like to participate in the RAK cards movement (good news is you don’t have to blog!!). #imbringingRAKcardsback #makeacardsendacard

I love the new Feathery Friends stamp set and used it to design my July RAK cards. We were flying to Cairns (Queensland) mid-July for a holiday and I had to post them before water colouring them; I’m still happy with how they look:

This worked out really well for one recipient whose daughter LOVES colouring in at the moment! Don’t you think she’s doing an amazing job? Such concentration:

It’s exciting to send cards around the world and this month I posted 3 within Australia, one to Canada, the USA and the UK, and two to New Zealand. The lovely Angela Meiritz-Reid from NZ shared this photo, that included my card, to let me know receiving it had totally made her day:

She then sent me this stunning card just a few days ago:

You won’t necessarily receive any cards even though you send them, but you will make a difference to someone’s day! I was lucky enough to receive 3 more gorgeous cards; this first one is from Michelle Mathwin, a fellow Aussie in NSW:

And this one came all the way from Louisa Diamond in the United Kingdom:

And it arrived on the same day as Elaine de Montmorency’s card from Canada:

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing these cards that were given and received by me in the last month; it’s very special to belong to a group of such thoughtful and generous people! Please travel around the rest of the blog hop to see all the beautiful cards and projects that have been shared. You’ll get some wonderful inspiration!
